I have known Jackie, this gorgeous momma-to-be,  for a little over a year now.  The circumstances under which we met are devastating.  Jackie lost her son, Curren, last February in a furniture tipping accident.  Her story, in her own grief-stricken words, grabbed a hold of so many of us in West Chester and the entire Main Line area.  I didn’t know her but sobbed for her.   Although clearly a devastating event for this family, Jackie has worked tirelessly to spread the word about securing furniture and furniture safety within her community.  You can read Jackie’s story here, here and follow the story on Facebook here.

Jackie has 3 additional children–two sons and a daughter and now a baby girl on the way!  I’m sure her arrival will be met with so many emotions.  When I spoke to Jackie about this post she shared this comment with me.  “I feel like we will be a family of six….again.”
